General
Are your earrings allergy free?
Yes! We do our best to make products allergy-free while also providing affordability. The metals we use on our pieces are stated in each individual listing, ranging from 24K gold plated stainless steel, 24K gold plated brass, 18K gold plated brass, rhodium plated stainless steel, and stainless steel. To know exactly what metal is used on each style, please go directly to that listing, and read the description.
Are the earrings heavy?
Because our earrings are made from polymer clay/ resin they are actually surprisingly light-weight! A pair of our biggest earrings only weigh a bit more than a 10p coin Many of our customers often say that when they wear their earrings, even a large pair, they often forget they're wearing them because they're so light.
How do I care for my earrings?
Here are a few tips so you can care for your item and keep it looking gorgeous for longer!
Resin jewellery:
- If you opted for a Silver plated / gold plated item, These are excellent quality however , after time can be prone to tarnishing. To prevent this from happening prematurely please avoid wearing :
- Over night while sleeping
- During work outs.
- Bath/ Showering.
- pools / Steam rooms.
- If you need to clean the glass / resin part of your item please avoid water and use a lint free cloth. The pendant should not at any time be submerged in water as this can cause the clearness of the pendant to haze.
- When you are not wearing your item I recommend leaving it in a dark part of the room or box/draw to avoid it being left in sunlight. Although this wouldn’t effect the overall look drastically it can cause premature discolouration to flowers & metals.
Polymer Clay Jewellery:
Our earrings are extremely durable and flexible, but please do not bend or pull them to prevent damage. Do not wear them while sleeping, swimming, or showering. Do not place anything heavy on top of them. Do not leave them in the excessive heat or sun. Clean posts as you would with any other earrings. Clean clay with a baby wipe/wet wipe/wash cloth. Use soap if necessary.
Brass Charms:
If your brass jewellery loses its shine and appears dull try the following methods:
Soap and water method ~
Washing your brass jewellery with soap and water should be the first step in removing dirt. Gently scrub the jewellery with a soft toothbrush and mild dish soap, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Ketchup method ~
Another method for cleaning brass jewellery is to apply a small amount of ketchup on the brass piece. Let it sit for a minute, and then gently buff it off with a soft cloth. This technique can effectively remove tarnish and restore the shine of your brass jewellery.
